Its history is one of a testing and regional inspection organisation that grew to become a provider of technical services with different stages in its international expansion.
TÜV Rheinland’s experts examine technical systems, products and service on the basis of the principles of total impartiality in the performance of their work, without having any interests in manufacturing, installation and marketing companies or of any type that could represent a conflict of interests or jeopardise the objective nature of the results of its activities.

In Navarre it currently has TIV stations in Pamplona, Arbizu and Doneztebe-Santesteban.
Sodena’s participation in TÜV Rheinland Navarra, S.A. was a key factor in our ability to undertake the business of the technical inspection of vehicles and set up a second TIV station in Navarra.
As a result, the region not only saw the network of this obligatory public service extended as a result of the concession system, through the agreement between Sodena and TÜV Rheinland, the territorial scope of the concession areas was also increased.
As a partner in TÜV Rheinland Navarra, Sodena always supported our efforts to improve. Our collaboration lasted until 1998, when Sodena decided to sell its stake in TÜV Rheinland Navarra.
